About UsOne of the most challenging decisions for any parent is their children’s education. Where your child spend 1400 hours each year will play a huge role in shaping their hearts and minds. The Covenant School was started in 2015 in order to give families in the Triad a quality education as well as more time together. Parents who use this model for Kindergarten through 12th grade will gain an extra 2.5 years of time with their child.
The University-Model® takes the best attributes of home schooling and combines them with the best attributes of traditional, classical, Christian education. Elementary students attend school at our central campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45-3:45. There, they are taught by our knowledgeable faculty. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, students are in their satellite classrooms, at home, and taught by parents who serve as co-teachers. 6th graders are also on our campus from 8:45-12:00 on Mondays, thereby receiving additional instruction from our teachers. The immediate goal of the UMS model is to provide an outstanding, cost-effective, college-preparatory education accomplished in a way that gives parents more time with their children. The ultimate goal is to partner with families as we strive together to produce Godly, winsome, and competent men and women of character who are passionate about impacting the world for Christ. |
